Slipstream's Z-Series was designed to be as easy to install and operate as a home dishwasher. As such, it has only a few simple outputs and inputs:
Concentrated Waste – a concentrated wastewater stream. This is typically > 10% of the original waste stream. If a Stage II Crystallization Chamber is integrated, this volume is further reduced to a dry, crystallized salt that can be easily and economically disposed of in a landfill or even sold to a metals recycling company for a zero liquid discharge (ZLD) system with the best ROI in the industry.
Clean Vapor Exhaust - Z-Series Only
Wastewater Feed – The waste stream you desire to eliminate. The wastewater can have a high amount of suspended solids as well as dissolved solids. Both will end up in the Sludge. Gravity feed is sufficient pressure for this input.
Heat- a source of heat, typically low pressure steam, can be supplied by the customer, or Slipstream can integrate it as part of the package.
Power – a 240V or 480V, 3-phase power source is needed.
Super corrosion resistant
Tolerates highly challenged wastewater streams
Installs very quickly, typically in a matter of hours
High machine availability or up-time of greater than 97%
Fully automated – does not require operator intervention
Easily maintainable. Every wetted surface can be easily accessed for cleaning, repair or replacement
Simple, automated operation
Zero Liquid Discharge - Takes a wastewater stream and completely eliminates the liquid. Creates a sludge or solid that ready for disposal, recycling or resale
High-volume wastewater evaporation
